Mervin January is a 1996 graduate of Grambling State University, a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band fraternity, and a former Drum Major of the World-Famed Tiger Marching Band. (1989 & 1990)

In 2013, he created a 501(c)3 non-profit organization called AAORS - Against All Odds Restoration Services. This organization provides "Life-skill" training, guidance, and mentorship to youth and young adults. The non-profit website can be found at  www.aaors.org

He is also a military Veteran having served in the United States Army during the 1990's as a Vehicle Motor Operator (88M) and a Tactical Computer Repairman (39Y).

With 28+ years of professional experience in corporate America, his professional career includes performance as an Information Technology Specialist providing technical support services to commercial organizations. He is also an entrepreneur who serves as a Sr. Technology Consultant for Supreme Helpdesk, LLC, currently located in Portland, Oregon. The business website is www.supremehelpdesk.com. Current Government Certifications as of 2023 include COBID, ESB, MBE, and DBE.

As an ordained minister, he relies on his faith in God as the ultimate system of survival. Along with his beautiful wife, Monique, he has served as the Servant Leader of Saved to Serve Ministries since 2013. The ministry website is located at www.savedandserving.org.

 

 

 

For many years, he has provided numerous community  services, including mentoring of youth, Christmas clothing giveaways, feeding the homeless, drive-by prayer, and much more. In the local downtown jails of Portland, Oregon, he spent 3 years serving as a volunteer chaplain for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. 

So far, the Lord has used his ministry efforts across multiple ministries to claim 310+ souls for the Kingdom.
